Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), its Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, and the School of Law, held the Forum Remedies and Sanctions for the Defense of Competition.
Two keynote talks were given at the event by María Elena Vásquez, President of the National Council for the Defense of Competition (PROCOMPETENCIA) and Dr. Angélica Noboa Pagán, Specialist Lawyer in Competition Practices.
The words of greeting and thanks were dictated by the dean of the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, Dr. Juan Alfredo Biaggi, judge of the High Court of the Dominican Republic.
In the second part of the Forum, a panel was held, which addressed different approaches to the issue, by Judge Mery Laine Collado Tactuck, President of the Fifth Chamber of the Superior Administrative Court; Francisco Álvarez Martínez, lawyer for the firm FABOGADOS, and Taniel Agramonte Hidalgo, lawyer for the Agramonte & Agramonte Legal Consultants office.
