Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña hosted representatives from the Stichting Voortgezet Onderwijs van de Bovenwindse Eilanden (SVOBE), a nonprofit organization that operates two high schools in Saint Martin: Milton Peters College in South Reward and Sundial School in Philipsburg, both of which are government-subsidized institutions.
During their visit, the executives of SVOBE and those of the University explored the possibility of establishing institutional relations that involve student mobility of higher education.
The convoy consisted of: Mr. Bares Kingsale, chairman of the Board; Jacqueline Duggins-Horsford, managing director; Marcus Nicolaas, Project coordinator; Mr. Sixto Peters, financial manager. They were welcomed by Cristina Taveras, director of Admissions and Mr. Aldo Erazo, Director, Department of International Relations. The meeting took place in the Multipurpose Hall of Building 3, 4th floor of UNPHU.
