Universities play an important role on the PLAN VACÚNATE RD
Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), was selected by the Department of Public Health to train its medicine students to be part of the PLAN VACÚNATE RD.
The training was done under the protocol of the Department of Public Health and with UNPHU also students from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) received the training.
The event was representing UNPHU, Dr. William Duke, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Claudia Scharf, director of the School of Medicine and by the Department of Public Health with Dr. Eladio Pérez; Doctors Suhaill Romero and Aurora Rodriguez, these last two as the instructors.
The journey was held in a simultaneous way in the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) were also students of Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) also received the training.
At Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo attended students from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA). In this campus the journey will be active until Tuesday 25, for students of Universidad Eugenio Maria de Hostos (UNINEMHOS), Universidad Central del Estee (UCE) and Universidad Dominicana) O&M.
This training was held at the Max Henriquez Ureña Hall of UNPHU from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p. m. and the students were divided in three groups of 25 students.
