Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), will become the venue of the XXII Latin American Congress of Public and Urban Transport (CLATPU), which will take place from 9 to 12 April 2024, in the Horacio Álvarez Saviñon Auditorium; with this congress seeks to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of public and urban transport, where experts can discuss and exchange ideas on challenges and solutions in the region.
The main objective of this event is to promote the sustainable development of public transportation systems and improve the quality of life of Latin American citizens.
During the 4 days participants will be able to enjoy master lectures by renowned international experts, round tables, research presentations and innovative projects; companies and leading entities in the field of transport will also be participating.
This event is organized by the Latin American Foundation for Public and Urban Transport (ALATPU), a non-governmental organization founded and composed of renowned international experts, based in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the National Institute of Transit and Land Transport (INTRANT), the national governing body of the mobility, land transport, transit, and road safety system of the Dominican Republic.
