Vaccination programs for dogs at UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), through the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Natural Resources and its School of Veterinary; held the talk “Use and vaccination programs against common diseases in dogs”, by Dr. Carlos Lorenzana.

“Vaccines teach the body how to defend itself when bacteria or viruses invade the body,” he said. Hence the importance of vaccines, which were developed to generate immunity against disease in canines.”

This activity was aimed at veterinary students and aimed to provide information on the importance of vaccines in dogs.  It was held on October 19, 2023, in the Conference Room.
