Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña through the Center for Operations in Objectively Standardized Medical Simulation (COSMOS), of the Faculty of Health Sciences, in coordination with the Department of International Affairs, conducted the Course of Basic Support of Life and Experiences, taught by the Nursing graduates, Teachers Berta Beltrán, María Hinojosa Estevez, Marina del Villar Galván and Alba González Barrios; as part of the requirements demanded by the career of Nursing in Europe, especially in Spain.
During their stay in the country, the nursing graduates made rotations by the Hospitals Dr. Salvador Bienvenido Gautier and Dr. Darío Contreras, within their curriculum of international practice in their training of Master in Critical Care Emergency of the University of Barcelona, Spain; under the international institutional agreement that for about six years have with UNPHU.
They were received by Dr. William Duke, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Mr. Aldo Erazo, Director of the Department of International Affairs.
The event was attended by nurses from different hospitals and universities in the country, who received a certificate of participation.
