Representatives of María Cano University Foundation of Colombia visit UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), received the visit of representatives of María Cano University Foundation, of Colombia. The visit was composed of 20 students and professors, who were received by the graduate Fermin Francisco Guerrero, director of the School of Marketing, representing the dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Dr. Leonardo Conde. 

A talk was given to visitors entitled “Recovery of tourism in the Dominican Republic in post-pandemic: A case of success”, by Gilberto Soto, director of the School of Hotels and Tourism of UNPHU.

At the same event, a presentation was made on UNPHU, the first private university in Santo Domingo, by Nathalie Almonte, Director of the Communication and Strategic Marketing Department.

They visited the university facilities, and were introduced to acedemic offering and achievements over the years. 

The María Cano University Foundation of Colombia, showed special interest in knowing the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, which, with its degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Tourism Administration, Accounting and Auditing, has the international accreditation of ACBSP, organization which accredits schools and business programs that apply the practices of excellence in teaching and learning.
