School of Dentistry of UNPHU holds White Gown ceremony

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, through its Faculty of Health Sciences and School of Dentistry, celebrated the White Gown ceremony, with the delivery of these to 15 students who have accomplished with outstanding marks the competences required to move from preclinical to clinical. At this stage the student becomes in direct contact with the patients.

Dr. Rogelio Cordero, director of the School of Dentistry, offered the words of welcome to the students and urged them to comply with the ethical standards of their profession. Dr. Francis González, director of the term of Clinic, was in charge of the swearing-in, and the words on behalf of the students were given by Ambar Elena Gómez, who thanked the teachers for the education received, which will allow them to perform a practice with human quality.  

The event took place on September 25, 2023, in classroom 203, building 11.
