The School of Education and its Bachelor of Special Education, and the School of Medicine, in coordination with Foundation Nido para los Angels; held the talk Cerebral Palsy, given by Rosa González, director of Education and Frank Rossel, physiotherapist of the area of Medicine.
In October, Foundation Nido para Ángeles commemorated the month of Cerebral Palsy, and its 15 years of continuous work in favor of children and young people with Cerebral Palsy. This exhibition presented the programs that contribute to the well-being, independence and autonomy of children and young people affected by this disability.
With this talk both institutions sought to raise awareness of the disability sector, as an essential part of establishing common spaces for entrepreneurship, through the dissemination of documents, promotion of training activities and academic exchange. Also, on various lines of research that delve into how to carry out effective interventions with children and young people with cerebral palsy, and their families.
The activity was held on October 19, 2022, in the Max Henriquez Ureña Hall, building 4 of the university.
