UNPHU and UMAYOR of Cartagena Strengthen Academic Collaboration and Student and Research Mobility

Santo Domingo, D.N., October 2025 –

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) signed an important Specific Collaboration Agreement with Institución Universitaria Mayor de Cartagena (UMAYOR) in Colombia. The agreement aims to create a framework for cooperation between the two institutions in key areas such as academic and administrative mobility, research, and knowledge sharing.

Besides academic mobility, the agreement between both academic entities includes the sharing of administrative mobility. This partnership aims to enhance the academic and research experience for the entire UNPHU community.

The delegation from Institución Universitaria Mayor de Cartagena that visited UNPHU included the academic and administrative authorities, among them: the rector, Juan Alberto Arraut Camargo; the dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, Ruth Mongua Camargo; the director of Human Talent, Sandra Simanca Palencia; and the director of Organizational Development, Yelis del Pilar Rosero Guerrero.
