UNPHU celebrates special graduation with 75 new professionals

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), invested 75 new professionals in the special graduation that took place on January 25, 2024, in the Horacio Álvarez Saviñón Auditorium.

Graduate professionals correspond to the careers of Architecture, Interior Design, Medicine, Veterinary, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Accounting and Auditing, Law, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Clinical Psychology, and Industrial Psychology, and Technical Psychometrics and Psychological Research

In Postgraduate Studies, Project Management Specialists; Master of Science 

Policies Mention Political Science; Specialists in Educational Planning and Management; Master in Hematology; Diabetic Foot; Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology); Specialist in Oncological Gynecology; and Master in Cardiology.

Patricia Matos, academic vice-chancellor said: “On this graduation day, we celebrate not only the end of an academic chapter, but the beginning of a new stage full of great opportunities. Each of you has shown perseverance to get to this point, and it is a testament to your commitment to academic excellence. During their time at our institution, they have acquired knowledge and skills that go beyond the merely academic. They have developed the ability to think critically, to work as a team and to face challenges with resilience. These skills, along with their passion and determination, prepare them for the uncertainty of the future.”

The event was led by the academic vice-chancellor, joined by Geisha Carpio, Vice-Rector of Postgraduate and Continuing Education; Adrián de Oleo, dean of Student Welfare; Marisol Ivonne Guzmán, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education; Engineer Cesar Mercedes, Director of the School of Civil Engineering, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Engineer Doris Pena; Dr. Eduardo García, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, representing the Dean Dr. William Duke; Víctor Mateo, director of the Modular Courses, represented the dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Dr. Leonardo Conde, and the Yolimar Mejías, academic director of the UNPHU Graduate School.
