Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, its Faculty of Humanities and Education, and its School of Psychology, delivered the talk “Shortage of Talent,” given by Martha Barroso González, director of People & Culture ManpowerGroup LATAM, Mexico.
Barroso González, spoke of the shortage of professional talent in Latin America, and the eight areas of labor empowerment; she also explained how changes arise in the demands of organizations and different work models. Also present at the event was Andrés Soto, regional manager of ManpowerGroup Caribbean and Central America, who exchanged ideas with the director of the School of Psychology, Ivonne Guzmán.
The activity was aimed at providing students and teachers with an up-to-date look at what is happening in the Latin American region regarding these issues. And it was held on July 18, 2023, in classroom 401, in building 3 of the university.
