UNPHU performs webinar Duarte within the context of the fight for the national independence

The History and Geography Department at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) with the support of the General Archives of the Nation held the webinar “Duarte within the context of the fight for the national independence”, with the participation of Angel Manuel Hernandez Rodriguez, director of the Department of the National System of Archives and inspector professor at UNPHU. 

This event was held within the Technical Table of Discussion of the Faculty of Humanities and Education at UNPHU and in celebration of the birth of Juan Pablo Duarte. 

During his intervention Mr. Hernandez Rodriguez presented the paper: About the Latin America Independence in a general sense and about the participation of Duarte in the National Independence”. 

The event was introduced by Mr. Alberto Garrido, director of the Departments of Letters and Philosophy, History and Geography at UNPHU, and had the participation of Milca Duarte, student of Special Education who interpreted “Canción a la Patria” of Juan Luis Guerra.
