Conference «Hotel sales and marketing strategies, yesterday and today» at UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) and its Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, in coordination with the School of Hospitality and Tourism, held the conference «Hotel sales and marketing strategies yesterday and today”, by Gina Eli, general manager of the Radisson Santo Domingo Hotel. 

The lecturer addressed the challenges she has presented, as a professional in managing these areas, hotel sales, marketing strategies applied to the market, and the profile of a sales manager, its skills, and skills that characterize the position.  This conference was attended by students from the schools of Hospitality and Marketing, who had the opportunity to hold a conversation with the lecturer.

The aim of the conference was to provide valuable content and knowledge that would contribute to the academic development of Hospitality students about the management of a hotel’s sales and marketing areas. 

The event was held in the Conference Room of Building 3, first floor.

About the Speaker

Gina Eli has more than 30 years of experience in the sales and marketing areas of various national and international hotel chains such as Courtyard, Renaissance, Hodelpa and Radisson.  Its management has been highlighted by the planning, coordination, development of projects and events of different kinds, commercial, social, community and sports.

Since her professional practice she has contributed to the development and sustainability of the hotel industry through her knowledge and skills; which has made her worthy of numerous awards and recognition, which endorse her as a recognized professional of this industry, so important to the economy of the country.
