The vaccination journey continues at UNPHU

The Vaccination center against COVID-19 enabled by the Public Health Department (MSP) operating at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) continues vaccinating persons over 68 years old and professors of the Department of Education (MINERD).

Since the former Tuesday February 25 all the staff of MSP, advanced students of Medicine and volunteers from UNPHU have actively participating on schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p. m. This Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 the staff will have a deserved rest. 

The vaccination process is held on Building IV. The applied vaccine is SINOVAC in its 1^st dose.

All person in accompanying an adult older than 80 years old will also receive the vaccine, as a gratitude act. 

Every day the Vaccination Center is applying between 2,000 and 2,500 vaccines.

 UNPHU is encouraging all who assist to keep the order, social distancing and the protocols outlined by the sanitary authorities.
