UNPHU participates in the Annual World Forum on Engineering Education 2023 (WEEF)

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) is participating in the Annual World Forum on Engineering Education 2023 (WEEF), which takes place at the Monterrey Institute of Technology, from October 23 to 27 of this year. César Mercedes, director of the career of Civil Engineering, belonging to the Faculty of Science and Technology, is participating representing the university.

The WEEF is a global forum that brings together academics, professionals, and engineering students from around the world, with the aim of promoting engineering education, fostering international collaboration, and discussing current and future challenges and opportunities in this field. 

This event brings together representatives from educational institutions, industry, governments, and international organizations; to discuss and share ideas on the challenges and opportunities in engineering education.

The event includes an educational track in partnership with the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) and a leadership track, with the Global Council of Deans of Engineering (GEDC).
