UNPHU become a host for the opening of the National Vaccination Plan against COVID -19 of the educative sector

The Plan started with teachers of elementary and high school from MINERD 

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), in coordination with the Health Office became the host to start the National Vaccination Plan against COVID -19 of the educative sector. Starting with teachers of elementary and high school from the Department of Education (MINERD).

The event was headed by the Excellence vice-president of Dominican Republic, Lic. Raquel Peña, joined by the minister of MINERD, Doctor Roberto Fulcar and with the Public Health Vice Minister Doctor Edward Guzm.an. 

By UNPHU were present Daniela Franco de Guzmán, Academic Vice chancellor and Dr. William Duke, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The National Vaccination Plan started Mrs. María Altagracia Rodriguez de Luzon, teacher of the initial level of elementary school, from the Elementary School Benito Juarez from the National District 15-03.

The event was held on Tuesday February 25 at 10:00 a. m. at the Max Henriquez Ureña Hall of the University.
