The School of Medicine of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (UNPHU) with the Mille School of Medicine of Miami University, the Dominican Society of Hemophilia, the foundation Support to the Hemophiliac (FAHEM), Children’s Hospital Robert Reid Cabral and the Dominican Foundation for Mothers & Infants held the webinar “World day of the fight against Hemophilia in the COVID-19 Pandemic, commemorating the Hemophilic World Day.
Attended, Angélica Floren, MD, FAAP, Fernando F. Corrales-Medina, M.D., and Krismely Moya Mejia, M.D. Doctor Corrales-Medina expressed: “The main goal in the hemophilia treatment is minimize the frequency and number of bleeding episodes”.
The introductory words of the event were given by Mrs. Haydee Benoit, president of FAHEM. The moderator was Doctor William Duke, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UNPHU.
