UNPHU participated at the X Environmental Forum

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña ((UNPHU) participated in the Environmental and Natural Resources Management at the X Environmental Forum “Climate Change and Environment Sustainability” organized by the Environmental Net of Dominican Universities (RAUDO).

The Forum for this occasion was virtual with the participation of Dr. Odette Varela, with the subject Production, Uses, and Applications of Bio charcoal; with Dr. Gregorio Rosario Michel, with “Geographic Information for the Risk Management and Sustainable Development in the Dominican Republic,” and José Ogando, engineer, “Importance of Identification of Environmental Impacts for the Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change.” 

The event was supported by Universidad Católica del Cibao (UCATECI), Universidad Abierta para Adultos (UAPA), Universidad Central del Este (UCE),Universidad Acción Pro Educación y Cultura (UNAPEC), Universidad Católica Tecnológica de Barahona (UCATEBA), Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo (UCSD), Universidad Tecnológica del Cibao Oriental (UTECO), Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA), Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD).
