UNPHU receives the visit of the director of Listin Diario, Mr. Miguel Franjul

Santo Domingo. Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) received a courtesy visit from well-known journalist and author Miguel Franjul, director of the newspaper Listín Diario, who held an institutional meeting with university officials.

Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, Rector of UNPHU, thanked the director of Listín Diario for his visit and praised his distinguished career as a national journalist, emphasizing his dedication to ethics, truth, and the country’s development through responsible journalism.

The meeting was held in the university’s VIP Hall and was attended by institutional authorities, including Dr. Patricia Matos, Academic Vice-Chancellor; Geisha Carpio, Vice Chancellor of Postgraduate Studies; Walter Lendor, Vice Chancellor of Institutional Development, Quality Assurance, and Projects; and Aldo Erazo, Director of International Relations.

This visit is part of UNPHU’s efforts to strengthen the connection between academia and the media, fostering spaces for dialogue and exchange that enhance the comprehensive education of its students.
