Within the framework of the program of recognitions of distinguished celebrities and institutions of society, Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, Rector of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University last Friday, August 18th, received from the honorable mayor of the city of Miami, Tomás Regalado, a recognition of his leadership qualities.
The recognition was granted because of his work as Rector of the UNPHU, which has produced so many professionals who are engaged in successful practices in important companies and institutions in the city of Miami.
“With this recognition we restate that the UNPHU has collaborated significantly with the educational and cultural growth of the Dominican community in the United States, which represents a source of pride in Latin success,” read the letter sent by the office of the mayor of Miami to the university.
