Congress of Medical Education Announced

The Dominican Association of Faculties and Schools of Medicine (ADOFEM), and the Pan American Federation of Associations of Faculties and Schools of Medicine Faculties (FEPAFEM), announced the holding of the «I International Congress of Medical Education».

The scientific meeting, whose motto is «Towards a comprehensive medical training with quality, based on globalization and inter-professionalism», will take place on March 3 and 04, 2023 at the headquarters of Laboratorios Rowe, in Santo Domingo. It will be dedicated to Dr. José Raymundo Jiménez and will feature master lectures and workshops on medical education.

Aimed at teachers, students, and collaborators of the different medical schools of the country; the conferences will be held from 8:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, with a curriculum value of 3 hours in hybrid mode, which will include certificate of participation.

The presentation of the congress was made by Dr. Miguel Robiou, president of ADOFEM; Dr. Marcos Núñez Cuervo, president of FEPAFEM, and Dr. William Duke, general coordinator of the event.

The «First International Congress of Medical Education» is being held in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT), the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) and other institutions.
