The director of the School of Engineering of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, Engineer Nelbry Zapata, was participating as a jury in the Latin American Congress of Students and Industrial Engineers, CLEIN 2023, edition 31, which was held in Cancun, Mexico, from October 29 to November 3 of the current year.
The Latin American Congress of Industrial and Related Students and Engineers “CLEIN” is the largest academic, social and cultural activity in Industrial Engineering throughout Latin America that year after year brings together students, professionals and teachers of the specialty, from 20 different countries. The congress underlines the values of social responsibility, and broadens the range of competence of attendees, empowering future leaders.
The purpose of this congress is to build the capacity of participants in the fields of data science, industrial design and production, and energy efficiency, as well as to create spaces for the establishment of professional collaboration relations and above all to promote cultural exchange and social awareness of industrial and related engineers.
