UNPHU and ASODAGRIM sign an academic cooperation agreement

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) and the Dominican Association of Surveyors (ASODAGRIM) signed an academic cooperation agreement, through which they seek to strengthen and consolidate their traditional cooperation ties, in order to jointly face the new and eventual challenges to climate change in the Dominican Republic.

Both institutions have as common objective to train professionals and technicians at the higher level. With this collaboration they will work together to encourage and facilitate educational and scientific actions aimed at promoting the continuous improvement of research, as well as the quality of life of technicians-professionals and society, for sustained development.

The agreed actions will include the development of training programs and continuing technical and vocational training, supported by UNPHU; workshops, diplomas and other studies will be given, which will be of benefit to professionals in Surveying and other professions.

The signing was carried out on 28 March 2023, between architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, rector at UNPHU and surveyor Victor Torrez Rosa, president of ASODAGRIM. Also present at the signing was the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Engineer Doris Peña.
