UNPHU commemorates the 211th Anniversary of the Birth of Juan Pablo Duarte

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) held the act of commemoration of the 211th anniversary of the birth of Juan Pablo Duarte; with a series of activities that included a floral offering delivered by Patricia Matos, academic vice-rector and Engineer Walter Lendor, vice-rector of Institutional Development; in the square of the homeland. Professor Juana Guerrero, in her beautiful reminder of the patrician, encouraged the new generations to honor the legacy of the Fathers of the Homeland.

As part of the activities and academic component was given the talk entitled: Juan Pablo Duarte in the Month of the Fatherland, which had the participation of Dr. Celsa Batista, Dominican writer, and historian. was also present Marisol Ivonne, dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education, and directors, professors and students participated;
