Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), supporting the national sport, is offering a full scholarship and a special recognition to the Olympic medalist at Tokyo 2020 as a motivation for their professional development.
Athlete Mariledy Paulino, who is the first Dominican woman with two silver medals in the same edition of the Olympics in the category of Athletics, is awarded a full scholarship to study the career of her choice.
Also, the Law student at UNPHU, Crismery Santana, who already has the full scholarship, will receive special recognition for obtaining a bronze medal in the category of 87 kg in weightlifting, becoming the first Dominican woman is stepping at the podium at an individual sport.
