The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), participated in the entrepreneurship competition of ACBSP LATAM, presented at the VI Symposium of Deans and Directors of Region 9. The faculty was represented by students Saul Lora and Melissa Valdez, who obtained first place.
The entrepreneurs presented the SEEDS COMMUNITY project, a proposal that, in the initial stage, has competed with nine LATAM universities. The global scope of the proposal was highlighted, with which they have been able to prevail in the lines of Inclusion and Diversity, Profitability, Disruptiveness, Feasibility and Scalability.
The project surpassed the other competitors in each of the lines, in a vote cast by all the deans and directors of Business Schools attending the Symposium.
The SEEDS COMMUNITY Proposal is a great bet to revitalize food production, the technification of the peasant, to add value to the whole chain through a modern, current and dynamic app; developed by the Accounting students at UNPHU La Vega campus.
